Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Canggu, Bali, Villa Salt sits within walking distance of the beach while still offering a sense of quiet retreat. Surrounded by lush landscaping and open skies, the villa’s layout called for furniture that could support both social interaction and private moments of rest, indoors and out.

Tabu Design delivered a full furnishing package for Villa Salt, covering both loose and fixed furniture throughout the home. The scope included the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, wardrobes, bathroom vanities, and a dedicated outdoor lounge area. Working closely with Studio Anso, we ensured that each element aligned with the architectural vision—balancing utility with soft, modern lines. A custom-designed bar area became a focal point in the villa’s social spaces, developed in collaboration with Lava Stone to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece. Every item was crafted to support the design language of the space, blending clean forms with natural materials and thoughtful detailing. 

The project began with a clear set of architectural drawings provided by the client, which Tabu translated into precise technical drawings for production. All measurements were taken onsite to ensure accuracy and consistency across the built-in elements. Our in-house team proposed suitable material and finishing options tailored to the tropical setting and use cases of each space. Furniture was produced entirely in-house under close supervision, with final quality checks conducted by Tabu’s management team prior to delivery and installation. The collaboration around the custom bar was a key highlight, reflecting our ability to adapt bespoke ideas into durable, functional results.
